AGQ Labs will open a laboratory in Saudi Arabia

AGQ Labs will open a new laboratory in Saudi Arabia together with ARM Associates

AGQ Labs and ARM Associates have signed an agreement for the implementation of a laboratory in Saudi Arabia. ARM Associates has offices in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain but also works throughout the Middle East in countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Qatar or Iraq, developing environmental consulting, health and safety projects, and process and system management.

AGQ Labs and ARM Associates have already developed various projects jointly in the region. As a result of this collaboration, the two companies have decided to take this step. According to Manuel José García, CEO of AGQ Labs, “this alliance has all the ingredients to be successful, since ARM Associates knows the Middle East market perfectly, in addition to having extensive experience as a consultant, and AGQ Labs is going to put all their technological knowledge, as well as their experience in the environmental, agri-food and mining sectors.”

For Mohsen M. Alami, CEO and founder of ARM Associates, “In Saudi Arabia, countless projects related to the green and circular economy are being developed, so a partner like AGQ Labs, with international experience in sustainable agriculture, environmental control and food safety, strengthens us as service providers of large companies such as Maaden -the largest mine in the country- or Aramco -the largest oil company in the world-.”

New laboratory in Al Khobar

The new laboratory in Saudi Arabia, AGQ Labs Arabia, will be located in Al Khobar, the country’s capital. The new facility will primarily have a focus on environmental control, with specialties in water testing and contaminated soil analysis. The rest of the analytical range for agricultural analysis, food safety and quality, environmental geochemistry for mining, and other analytical services, will be covered from the laboratories that AGQ Labs has in Spain.

With this agreement, AGQ Labs reinforces its presence in the Middle East, a region in which it is already present in Egypt. With the entry into Saudi Arabia, AGQ Labs is already in 28 countries and has a staff of more than 950 professionals.
